How to Clean Things

Environmental consciousness isn't just for hippies, granola chicks, and Northface poseurs anymore. With this project we attempt to teach you how to clean things efficiently with as little environmental impact as possible.

Though we try to preach very little, we do believe that it's time to take housekeeping out of the 50s and into the 21st Century. Harmful chemicals and inorganic solvents are no longer needed to clean things. In fact, they never were. Baking soda, lemon juice, citric acid, and vinegar are just a few of the natural household products we use.

We strive to help you clean things with clearly illustrated, logically organized, well written articles that will hopefully convince you to throw away those toxic cleaning solutions and help our society build momentum toward a cleaner, greener world.

Organic Cleaning Supplies

As we've mentioned already, we're doing what we can to convince you that cleaning your home doesn't require cleaning products that are toxic to the environment. In every article you will find a list of organic & natural cleaning supplies that we think are suitable for replacing the nasty chemical solutions we've (unfortunately) grown to trust.

Blog & RSS Feed

When we complete an article, we will always post an update notification on How to Clean Things Blog. The How to Clean Things Blog is a useful tool for keeping our readership up-to-date on this website's development. We have also provided you with an RSS feed, just in case you wish to syndicate the blog's content or simply make it less of a hassle to keep track of us. We will try to update as often as possible, but you need to keep in mind that how2-guides.com is a very large freelance writing project. We have a lot of ground to cover.
